If you liked one, you’ll like the other!
As we all know, I am quite behind on my August book review post! Eek! I #cantstopwontstop reading long enough to catch up on my recaps. I’m trying though!
In August I was listening to Something Wilder by Christina Lauren at the same time that I was reading Before We Were Strangers by Renee Carlino. I am always kind of comparing books that I am listening to and reading simultaneously, (because how can I not, really?) but these 2 were sooooo similar! Luckily I liked what they had going on, so I enjoyed them!!!
Both stories are about young love that kind of falls apart (for different reasons) and both sets of main characters cross paths again later in life. Both stories had my jaw drop at one point (again for different reasons) and in both books I was rooting for the main characters to mend their relationships. All of this said, they are 2 different books, and I am glad I read both. I am NOT saying that they are the same book.
I am so curious to hear if any of you have read both books and if so, which you preferred.

Something Wilder is set on a ranch whereas Before We Were Strangers is set in the city. Maybe the setting will help you choose which you want to read first! =)
